
Emergency First Responder Course
A First Aid qualification is useful in all walks of life this is why the EFR course is a non diving specific first aid course. However everything that is taught is relevant to diving.
Qualification Gained.
A First Aid qualification that is as useful around the house as it is at the dive site.
Student Pre-Requisites.
Be a minimum of 12 years old.
Course Structure and Duration.
6-8 hours broken down into 25% theory, 75% practical.
Training Materials.
EFR Primary and secondary care manual and training bandage pack.
Required Diving Equipment.
No equipment is required as this is a classroom based course.

Chain of Survival.
The Emotional Aspects of Being an Emergency Responder.
Recognizing life threatening Problems.
Secondary Care (First Aid).
Required Skills for Certification.
Show mastery of all skills taught during the course. Pass the exam with a score of 75% or above.
Upon Certification.
Upon Certification you will receive your EFR certification card which is valid for two years
